The Ethereum Fusaka upgrade will go live on mainnet on December 3.
This upgrade expands blob space to process data posted by Layer 2s more cheaply and quickly, and introduces PeerDAS, a new data sampling technique.
Developers and Vitalik Buterin see this as key to Layer 2 scaling.
